This page describes how Philosophale SAS processes data when it manages, on behalf of its clients, their Facebook Pages and professional Instagram accounts, through Meta's APIs.

1. Who we are

2. What we do

Philosophale is a social media management agency. Our clients (for example associations or businesses) entrust us with publishing content on their own Facebook Pages and professional Instagram accounts. To do so, we use an internal software platform, connected to Meta's APIs, that lets our team prepare, have approved, then publish this content, and review the resulting performance statistics.

We only ever act on accounts our clients have explicitly authorized us to manage, under the service agreement that binds us to them.

3. Data we process through the Meta APIs

We do not collect or process any data about the followers, visitors, or audience of the pages and accounts we manage - only the data necessary to publish and measure our own publications.

4. Why we process this data

This processing is based on the performance of the social media management service agreement entered into with each client: publishing the content they approved, and reporting back to them on the results obtained.

5. Who has access

Only Philosophale staff authorized on the relevant client's account have access to this data. It is hosted on infrastructure we operate ourselves; it is never shared with any third party other than Meta itself (as part of the normal use of its API) and our technical hosting provider.

6. Retention period

Access tokens and associated data are kept for the duration of the contractual relationship with the client, and deleted within a reasonable time after that relationship ends, unless a longer retention is legally required.

7. Deleting your data

Are you a client, or do you administer a page/account we manage, and would like us to delete the associated data?

Write to contact@philosophale.fr, specifying the name of the page or account concerned. We will revoke access and delete the associated data from our systems as soon as possible.

8. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, and port your data. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to contact@philosophale.fr.

9. Security

Our clients' access tokens and data are hosted on infrastructure whose access is restricted to our team, over end-to-end encrypted connections.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated; the date at the top of the page indicates the latest revision.
